I cannot locate 2 front drum brake lines for my 1969 AMC Javelin SST. I have 4 wheel drum brakes, so can anyone tell me if I can use a rear drum brake line, it appears to have the same 3/8 " male and 3/8" female ends that the front drum brake line has and is about the same length. The rear brake line is readily available at local auto stores, but the front hose is no where to be found.

I did a quick search... many stop at 70 for fitment..
CENTRIC makes one hose for 68 on up to 74 front and rear javelin. It is possible that the front hose is the same for all 68 to 74 Javelins.

If it fits, it will work. Got a local shop that makes hoses? Its not an odd ball connection.

Have AMC Fun,

rockAuto.com has lots of brake parts, including hoses, for that car. it's a great site even if you don't order from them (though even with shipping their prices are good). generally accurate pictures, and you can look up part numbers, etc.
