The trans rebuilder is correct.The new production parts are lined with modern materials to use todays modern fluids.

That's exactly what I was told with both a BW & Torque Flite. I think Lucas saved a engine for me so I added it to the trans.

With 30 plus years doing units i think i will be just fine but thanks for your concern...I don`t use tansgo kits.(Shift kit is only a modification to line pressure,clutch/band apply and release timing and clutch pack and servo fill rates) when you do a complete overhaul with valve body/pump modifications like i do the clutch`s require type F or equivalent.And if you switch to B&M trick shift it`s type f with a much higher flash point...

I will agree there is a BIG difference between building a performance unit and a factory overhaul...You have to know the product your dealing with...Stock rebuild and a racing unit are two different beasts...
