Both the clip and the pigtail are getting full voltage. :/

If you are getting full voltage how can you have a poor connection?

It could be an intermittent problem brought on by vibration.

Yeah, I'm going to have to pull this thing out. With no fuse the clips get full voltage. When I put the fuse in I get nothing.

Ahhhh....  As an aside, if you are using a digital voltmeter, you can read full voltage through a poor connection.  With an analog, typically you can't as the lower impedance of an analog puts enough load on the circuit to drop the voltage across the poor connection.  Nevertheless, it sounds like it'll have to come out.

Turns out one of the connectors in the fuse block pigtail wasn't making good contact. It was probably the brake light fuse ground connector. The plastic was warped from getting hot at one point. I bent it back and so far so good. I'm thinking a new Painless harness will be in my future.
