Yes, leather. I found a website that lists weight of these at 27 pounds. Anyone have any idea of the weight of the stock seats?

I am thinking of a set of these for my Spirit. Do you have the dimensions of the seat brackets. They list for the Hornet which should fit the Spirit but dont know. Or maybe I can adapt the seats to the Spirit tracks?

I would expect hornet and spirit seat mounting would be the same as both use mostly the same chassis.
I am so doubtful of anything fitting I bought one seat bracket for a test fit! This winter I may modify the brackets slightly to get the seat a bit lower to get a little more helmet room. |

It's lowered about an 1.5 inches I think. It's hard to tell, as I replaced the original worn springs with higher rate shorter springs. You can use lower plates, and I have some but haven't put them in yet for a variety of reasons.
I have been messing with some fabrication of some front suspension upgrade options, to get it lower and get more caster, better camber gain, and have the ability for larger tires. |
