65 rambler help

   Hello everyone hoping to get some help and also someone who has the part that can spare me. My car is a 65 rambler 660 with a 287 4.7 the transmision is a e speed automatic my brother hit the column shifter up from the park spot . leading it to no longer change gears so we opened the tranny and found a small teeth looking part that has a whole with flat sides that goes around a bar link or some sort it just spins in it as moving the column shifter but doesn't change gears. Of some one has a transmission that is parts and can spare me that part. Thanks
