Why does my clutch pedal sit sooooo much higher than my brake? The clutch is against the stopper and the pedal is a lot higher. It's been years since I looked at a stocker so I have no idea

Each assembly I've ever pulled has them the same height across. Something strange here. Adjust the linkage?

The clutch stop is adjustable.

Yes I realize the stopper is adjustable however the amount that the clutch pedal is too high by is way more than the adjustment will change. I will take pictures. in the mean time can someone post pictures of the stock brake / clutch pedal relationship?

Maybe your brake pedal is lower than usual.
I take it that's it's your AMX, and it's a ex-SCCA car. Maybe someone adjusted the brake pedal lower so they could easily "heel and toe " it. |

You might be on to something here. I do have a Wilwood master cylinder.
I do remember installing the brake light switch and it seemed like it sat in a normal spot, but I will double check that. |

If you are out of adjustment on the stop, then I agree with tyrodtom. The culprit is probably the brake, not the clutch. |

OK I think we are on to something. Can someone measure from the backside of the brake pedal to the floor? Since I am running a Wilwood master, it may need adjustment to get the pedal height up
thanks! |
