Does anyone else out there know if wiseco is dropping there 360 pistons. I've been searching for 2 months now and no luck. Most distributors show not available. Cambell enterprises told me they were on national backorder, maybe they'll; have some in Febuary late. I just bought some molnar rods in December and now I can't get and off shelf wiseco pistons, i'm really bummed out.

Did you call Wiseco directly? Which version were you looking for? Wiseco makes a flat top and a dished version in 30 and 40 over if I remember correctly.

Summit Racing lists the flat top 30 over as available to ship tomorrow and the dished 30 over estimated to ship on 2/23. I suspect your looking for the dished version.

I always buy direct from Wiseco, they seem to be appreciative of any sales.

Last time they got me new 401 pistons in 2 days because I was in a pinch and was trying to make a race.

When you call Wiseco ask for Vic Ellinger. He will know more about the AMC pistons than anyone there. He is the one who pushed to get these made & who I worked with designing them.  He is a racer & an extreme car enthusiast.  Thell him Steve O sent you. :-)

Well I called wiseco today and got the BAD NEWS, the 360 flat top #PT115A45 pistons are discontinued. Good news is they have a new number PTS539A45. There calling it a street series piston in the new 2016 catalog. So i'm happy to get an off the shelf piston.

I just talked to Vic. The part number change is due to a new design forging. The new forging requires less machining to speed up the machining process. They did this for a bunch of pistons in their catalog.

I'm glad to see they were helpful Xspiriment.
