Here's the drive shaft of mine, see the scoring where the seal sits. It was scored like this at both ends from sitting, the condensation in the axle case and the trans does that...


And here's the Speedi-Sleeve being fitted to cover the scoring.


And here it is in place



Dropping the axle onto the brake drums and rolling it, yes you can, but gently
