I got a NOS dome lamp lens, thinking it was for a Pacer, but appearantly it isn't. The part nr. is 3690214. Anyone an idea what is's for? Thanks.

OK, I tried looking for a number inside mine, which I had none... A 71 dome lens. From 71 on up you have two rings near the outer 1/4", while pre 71 had 3 concentric rings starting from center almost equally spaced.

It looks almost identical to this one on eBay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1979-91-AMC-Spirit-Pacer-AMX-Eagle-Concord-Full-Size-Jeep-NOS-domelamp-lens-/321841946889?fits=Make%3AAmerican+Motors%7CModel%3APacer&hash=item4aef466109&vxp=mtr However it's just a bit smaller, but the same in shape.

Its probably the optional light group unit on Eagles and Spirit AMXs. This lens was in the center and there were 2 additional switched spot lights on each side.
