Try Clay Smith cams my brother ( Ed Miller ) had one ground there also had a Chet Herbert cam first first but had Clay Smith grind him one the cam sounds really hot. Have to watch lift if you are running stock heads.

I was thinking I had seen a vendor offering a mild cam on an exchange basis somewhere, but can't find my link. Don't really want to go wild, just thought a little might be fun.

Probably Galvin's (offering exchange reground cam). They do that for the 196 OHV six.
www.ramblerparts.com, but you'll need to call.

Any of the cam companies can regrind one for you. I had Lunati regrind a 196 OHV cam years ago. Stay under 0.500" total lift and you'll be fine. The engine will respond to changes in duration about the same as other engines, so find a cam with the qualities you're looking for and get it ground to match.

Bullet cams is great to deal with as far as re-grinding a cam.

for a mild cam regrind on a 327 do you have to have longer pushrods or different lifters?

Nope, they should work fine as long as lift isn't increased too much.
