Takes high RPMs to move. No problem moving forward. Just in reverse, it take a lot of throttle to get movement. Any ideas?

What transmission? I took one apart that had a section of O-ring missing from the reverse servo. Reverse band could be worn out. Reverse band not adjusted correctly? If a T35 the adjustment is from outside trans with a check nut. Loosen nut, crank down on square headed bolt to 9 ft lbs., back off 3/4 turn, tighten nut.

Make sure you have plenty fluid in it first. Have you posted the same problem in another section? Sounds familiar...
