A friend of mine fried his Aeromotive fuel pump. They did the same thing, sent him a new one before they had the old one back. Can't beat that for customer service.

I'm curious, how did you get that pump assy to clear your trunk pan? Don't the tanks mount up flat against the trunk pan like a 71-74? Have any pictures?

Do not run pump with no fuel in tank. It will kill the pump.

Maybe just me, but having that hole cut in the trunk floor, brings back memories of early Mustang, tank as trunk floor...a rear end collision will dump fuel directly into the passenger compartment....hope you are going to install a cover over it to create a barrier between the fuel tank/pump/plumbing and the interior. With that very nice positive pressure pump any leak at the pump "could" spray fuel pressure directly in the car /back seat.....please proceed with caution.

I remember the drop in tanks. Such a good idea if you disregard safety. I'm making a hinged cover that will latch shut, like I mentioned above.
