Does anyone know what the spline count is for the 129 transfer case?And the spline count for the np249 transfer case?

23 spline input. There are some variations in the length of the later Jeep transfer cases input shafts.

The 129 has a fixed yoke and the 249 has a slip yoke. I have no idea what that spline count is.

I swapped the yokes on the 242 I put in, but 1 was a different count than the other. I can't recall if it was front or back (had a fixed yoke kit installed before I got it)

Is there an exact replacement for an Eagle axle shaft available anywhere ?    Snapped driver-side axle this time; Passenger-side 10 yrs. ago. after diligent search of junkyards & parts folks, we welded the old one - still working today(crossed fingers!) Along with DOOR HANDLES, this is the only recurring ill.
