A well built 360 will scare the crap out of most people!!! I have a turbo 400 with a brake and a 3.73 ratio rear. it goes thru the traps @6300. FYI the Indy Intake makes a real bad a$$ combo. A little work @ the valve cover rail will net some real nice results. This combo was running a Quick fuel 750 carb.

Ding Ding Ding... Cal Tracs. And Rancho RS9000's if you don't want to spring for QA1's. The 290B6 is a pretty decent cam for as mild as it is. I run one in the Piper, 11.0's at 121 mph so far, 3050 without me in it, slicks/caltracs/4.10's, 727 with a 5000 stall, bottom 1.50's short time. Car is gutted but all steel with glass windows. It has more in it.. |

Ive got some great advice from this thread but I also have one more ? what head modifications are you running currently to run these times and who is a reputable head ported to rework my 291c heads or does anyone have some for sale outright. Thank you and merry Christmas, Scramboy.

Stock heads with a little minor de-burring should be ok.
AMC heads flow very good stock.

To answer Rumbler in Aussy the heads were reworked by me and I changed the exhaust to a trapezoid configuration. I port matched the intakes to a Eddy intake gasket. There was plenty of meat to play with. 208 intakes took care of the flow problem @ the bowl area. I think if I put a 401 into the mix it will get real interesting.
