The AMC-20 (not a Dana btw) in my AMX racecar was assembled in 1975 w/ Henrys Axles, welded tubes and perches, AMC 4.44 gears and a LH thread TwinGrip.
It has never been apart. If you are in the 10's i'd get a 9" but, you will have to put $3k into it to fit & last. Any good Jeep shop should be able to set up a 20. What limited slip do you have? Goodluck, Ron.

Do you know if they ran the back lash a little tighter and a solid crush sleeve to keep ever thing where it should be?
I like that carrier brace. I did not use a solid sleeve but did run back lash tighter, no brace like yours. I did weld the tubes to housing & braced up the spring mounts with the Cal-Trac's. 3100 lb car, little over stock 360, man. rev. valve body, hi stall converter, 4.56 w/locker & 9x28x15 slicks.
