If you are concerned about cold start dry rap you could install a poor man's accusump, a mechanical oil PSI gage and ignition shut off toggle switch. With the ignition off crank your engine until oil PSI is observed then flip the ignition on, this might cause a little more wear on the starter but those are easily repaired or replaced. The ignition switch if hidden is a good theft deterent I have them in a couple of my classic cars. Tony

THE DELCO PF-24 IS A GREAT RESOLUTION EXCEPT THEY ARE A BIT HARD TO FIND????? ON MOST OF MY AMC'S I JUST USE THE WIX AND FORGET IT.
BACK TO THE ORIGINAL ISSUE, ONCE AGAIN I FAIL TO SEE HOW SUCH A LOW MILE ENGINE COULD HAVE CLOGGED THE FRAM FILTER. I WILL NEVER USE ONE AGAIN. |
