Have a 68 Rambler that im building 1970 360 with a fox mustang 5speed. Found a driveshaft that is perfect 48.5 center to center. It is from a 83 Thunderbird or cougar!! fits great and has about .75" to slide in till it stops

I put an aluminum driveshaft from a '96 ford explorer 2wd in my hornet with AX15 and it's great

Used a 77 Pinto wagon shaft in mine! $25.
same 1310 ujoints and a larger diameter, from a Pinto! I got so lucky it had new Ujoints in it! Can't beat a tape measure and a pull-a-part. |
