I found this thread when I was searching for fuel pump rebuild kits, I ordered from AMK, received new kit in a couple days.  MY fuel pump that went bad had 1/4 NPT inlet and outlet.  All the fuel pumps in my "cores" box had 1/8 NPT inlet and outlet.  Check valves were different, too.   I had a couple "new" ones but I just don't like the pumps that have the stamped and crimped together pieces even though they seem to work on my friends cars.
So if you have the higher performance pump, screwed together, with two check valves and the diaphragm looks like the one in the AMK picture, should work for you.

hey all, back again... I'm looking to possibly piece together my performance related things (carb, exhaust, intake)

I'm looking at the Holley 600 cfm, vacuum secondaries, electric choke.

Do I have to get a certain carb and bracket for the TV cable?  I found a decent one on ebay that I'm looking at, but this is something I'd like to know first.  Maybe it changes between Ford/Chevy/Chrysler?

Any input is appreciated!

I think you will have to mod the carb linkage for the TV cable. It shouldn't be too hard, as there are several connection points on the universal carb linkage. The length of the arm between the main pivot point and the cable clevis connection is what you need to be concerned about, and the direction the arm moves of course. You may need to move the anchor point of the cable, but that shouldn't be difficult.

Cool, thanks Frank!

It sounds like if the one that it comes with isn't the proper one I should be able to get the right one fairly easily if needed.

Thanks!
