Hi guys,

I just bought a car today, pictures later.

I have a question, though. Where do the seatbelts mount on bucket seats in a 1965 Ambassador 990H?

Thanks a ton,
Jordan

If the floors and inner rockers are original there should be bolt holes and reinforced plates on the inner rockers (or edge of floor) near the back of the seat track and then on the driveshaft tunnel near the back of the seat track.

That would be great. Seat belts really help. Wink

Was only able to get 1 picture that came out decent of the drivers side.   Car is in the garage and doesn't want to start, so was unable to pull out in better light.

That said the outer seat belt bolts into the floor just past, (maybe 1/2 inch) the second to last screw on the sill plate, see picture, just looked at the pic and the screw driver that is laying on the floor is almost pointing directly at the seat belt bolt.  The inner belt bolts into the transmission tunnel, this belt bolts in about 4-5 inches further back than the outer belt.

If your car still has the carpet in it I would remove it to locate the holes, they will be there as the 990H came with front seat belts.
