are the brake pedals different in a 73 javelin between pwr and manual brakes? converting to manual brakes. disk ft, drum rear. man pedal in my 75 gremlin sits out about 2" further than gas pedal. same thing in my ambassador.

Measure from hole center to home center on both pedals, if they match , same ratio.
If they don't match you can drill your Ambo pedal to Match the Gremlin or try it out first.

I don't know if this will work for you or not but I used the whole 76 Gremlin pedal assy., master & engine bay brake lines in my 70 Javelin drag car when I swap it over to disc. Oh and the front disc.
Jav was power drum/drum grem was non-power disc/drum.

Yes they are. I swapped from manual to power and the pedal was really high so swapping pedals put in a normal position. Here's a picture of both. The bottom one is the manual pedal.
