I'm confusing you with your friend in the third or fourth pic in the blue hat, sunglasses, and white tee-shirt. You also have a BBG '70 AMX that used to have the half-moon chrome headlight covers. Steve |

I wasn't sure who you were asking....That is Richard, his 68 is a blue with an aqua tint to it, the only color I've seen like it. His stripes are also wider then stock, and look pretty good too, he also likes to open his cutouts whenever he has a chance, so you can't ignore him !
Nice car, great guy. This shot is from this years Speedfest. |

John & Allen from the club, helped me do some engine work, and repaint the engine and bay.
They pulled off my chrome headlight brows, and the engine was green and made me paint it Alamosa. The intention was to get the Machine, sell the AMX, pay off the loan and use the extra money to go through the Machine the way I wanted to....but....the AMX is so pretty now with that work done, and needing less to do then the Machine....and the AMX is "So Much more fun to drive"....i guess the Machine will have to go instead. I sure like taking it to AMC shows though, we don't have many on this coast, so I'm usually the only one. I only have one garage space.... I know, you asked a simple question....that'l teach ya ! Naw it's good
The AMX is sharp. The Machine is very uncommon out this way. Is the Red and flat black the factory scheme for that Machine? Steve

My Machine was originally Hialeah Yellow, which I would have preferred, I'm not a red fan. But I guess the people I bought it from liked red better. They also painted the whole hood black, instead of to the rib lines, but one thing I do like, they painted the lower side panels black. and it needs it to tone down all that red. Only the RW&B had the lower sides painted, in Blue.
She's a BIG car, I can tell just by the difference it takes to wash them, the AMX is a snap. Randy
