Still working on finishing my kid's 79 CJ with a 89 YJ tub. For a "bolt-on" this thing has been a PITA. I'll outline what had to be done in another post, but for now I'm trying to bolt the windshield on. Is there supposed to be tapped floating reinforcing plates inside the cowl? there's just 1/2" holes in the sheet metal. Same goes for the lower door hinges, just holes. I guess I'll have to make something, but what do they look like?
