My saginaw pump blew up a few days ago, so I ordered a rebuilt Cardone unit and got it today. Everything fits nicely except the pulley shaft is the standard 5/8" bore and is keyed. The pump I had was a 3/4" bore and press fit. So I am looking for a correct pulley that is a v groove. The old pump had a bolt that screwed in to the shaft after the pulley is installed - the new pump uses about a 1/2" nut. I think some sort of GM pulley should fit this, but hard to say since everybody used saginaw pumps with some minor variations.

Hey rockAMX! I'm having this same problem. I did purchase that same pulley you are linking to above. DId you also purchase it? The width of the inside of the pulley isn't as much as the AMC press fit so the belt sits high in the saddle. Did you deal with this and was it a problem for you?
