I believe the intake is from a Australian delivered 1957 Hudson Hornet, which I assume is the same engine.

When I was a kid, my grandfather had a '57 Rebel he ordered when he was a Hudson/Rambler/AMC dealer. That 3150726 intake casting number was one I remembered from my teenage years. Funny how, after spending 40 years in the parts business (I started working the parts counter when I was 9 years old), certain numbers stay in the mind.

Buzzman72...void where prohibited, your mileage may vary, objects in mirror may be closer than they appear, and alcohol may intensify any side effects.

Most likely you need to talk to Kevin Nichols , he is one of FARM Guys out of the Detroit area. Kevin builds a lot of early AMC V-8s engines and he is one of the experts on these engines. LRDaum
