I have a 1961 American....6 cylinder with the Flashomatic Trans.
I have searched my TSM and this forum, but I can not find what I am looking for....... How much new fluid goes into the Torque Converter prior to installation ? Also, is Dextron III or IV the correct modern dat equivalent ? |

One quart into converter before installing it into front pump to keep it from a dry start. Dexron 111 will be great for that trans
