Has anybody used a Phoenix Brake Bleeder to reverse bleed their brakes? I have had one for many years and like the idea of the tool, but haven't been able to make it work. I think the principle of forcing the fluid in at the wheel and forcing the bubble up and out the master makes good sense. The air bubble wants to rise and sometimes can't be forced down.

But I haven't been able to get a good enough seal on the bleeder to inject the brake fluid. If I squeeze the handle hard enough, it just blows fluid all over. I'm not having any luck bleeding the brakes on our Rogue and hoped this would work.

Did you bring this up because it was ob power block tv the other day?
It sounds like a good plan but you have to crack the bleeder a little to pass fluid and I would think fluid could "leak out" or let air in? I see it with the so called speed bleeders too.
So far I think pressure bleeding it the best but I can see air getting trapped. Gravity bleed can work pretty too. Open the bleeder and come back when fluid comes out.

I am going to have to deal with a pesky bleed of my project brakes because a quick bleed did not work.

No, I didn't see it on TV, but have seen the videos on their web site.

That is one of the problems. You have to open the bleeder, they say 1/4-1/2 turn, but then the fluid escapes around the threads. Grease on the threads doesn't help. I'm beginning to wonder if it's an issue with the Cadillac calipers complex piston/adjuster mechanism? I'll have to try the front calipers.

I HATE bleeding brakes!
