A lot has happened since I have posted on here I had a busy 2014. I bought a house an know have a place to keep all the cars! I also sold my old ford truck for a new ford to pull the Rambler! So all of that has put a dent on the racing but I did get one big modification done to the Rambler and that was putting on the Nitrous on the car! The fastest time that I had ran with the car was a 13.66 ET and after the nitrous it dropped it all the way down to 11.77 ET and know you half to hold on with both hands than quickly go to the 1 to 2 shift it is even picking the front tires of the ground! Its a riot! I have a few plans for 2015 I really need to get a role cage in the car. So I car go even faster! I am so ready and excited for the race season to start!

LOL I think that was the point.. a 360 is just a 343 with a 3.44" crank instead of a 3.28".. so effectively you have created a factory 360, it just says 343 on the side of it :)

Edit: Just saw that those posts were very old, sorry. Car looks great, looks a lot like my Dad's 66 American!

Why not a hotter cam for a drag car? That cam is very mild.

I was thinking the same thing.
I run a Comp 280H kit in my 360 because I did not have to do any machine work to the pistons or heads.

I run a 4.56 gear, 28x9x15 M/T slicks and with my cam (280H) it runs out of steam before the line I think the 4.11 would be the way to go like you have.

Keep us posted on the car.
