Cost to recondition a grille depends on which grille you have. Most are $600-$750. Right now I am not taking on any more work as I have too many to get done now.

Hi,
I´m working on my 1973 AMX in Spain and getting all the knowledge i can on the way. I´m not a professional but i put tons of love on it. I ´d done work with the plastic, I´ll be happy to learn more. ¿do you know of any youtube video i can watch to learn more about plastic work. I´m interested in what you call the cutting method
¿what type of paint and prep did you use to paint it? One of the next work to do on my car is paint the tail lights
thanks in advance for your help
bye

If you ever decide to retire restoring the grilles and steering wheels may make you a good living.
Long time AMC fan. Ambassador 343, AMX 390, Hornet 360, Spirit 304 and Javelin 390. All but javelin bought new.

Shelby does some really nice work but there's no way he could make a living from it because you wouldn't believe the stack of grills he has from people backing out. Seems like everyone wants theirs done until it's time to pay for it......
