I actually bounced off that wall at the exit of the carousel when I was racing motorcycles back in the 90's For the Faceoff they only use the back portion of the track, and the new chicane which eliminates the kink and its inherent danger. They also put in a chicane using cones a few hundred yards before Canada corner.
These changes keep it much safer for “street” cars. Had a set-back this weekend, hope to get back on track later this week. |
