We should dedicate a page to the persons who made AMC what it is today....as I drove by this morning and looked at the barron field that once was something great. What was a corporation looking to take on enormous growth, they fall to a band of misfits. It sickens me.
And to know how a couple key individuals were sellouts. Kenosha, the way I remember it, is gone. Only a memory exists and that is sad

I signed that book out at a library a couple of decades ago, still trying to find it again so I can try to buy it.

FYI, There are a couple of different volumns of the American Motors family album! Both are worth the purchase.
I had one of the volumns for many years and when I found out there was another addition I set out trying to find it. After trying book store's, Etc. with no luck I contacted Chrysler Corp. The lady I talked to said they had several cases of them and that she would send me one. I asked her how much and she said it was free because they didn't know what to do with them anyway.
I thought that was pretty cool for present day Chrysler to do for an AMC guy.

Another source might be Powells Books. They carry some of the most hard to find books anywhere.

There were several different editions. They started in 1952, and the last one was done in 1969. They can be found on eBay average price $20. Search rambler family

The last "AMC Family Album" was done in 1977 by John Conde at AMC PR just before he retired. I've got 5 editions sitting on my book self and I think there were 7 or 8 total. I'm currently working on a new expanded edition I hope to have ready by Kenosha 2014. LRDaum
