This project has been stalled thanks to a divorce.  The car is now stored in Saskatchewan and I have moved from BC to Wpg., all the body work and mechanicals is done, all glass in place, it now needs interior assembled and a paint job and the custom exhaust done!  Still a lot to do but the worst is over, ...all that body work, but is was worth it!  Important thing is I still have the car and I have not lost focus of it!

Welcome to Winnipeg. I look forward to seeing your Rebel. Sounds like an awesome car.
There's a great group of helpful people in the AMCMan club. Check us out sometime.
Cheers!!   Ron

Greg, the group there is much more active in the car scene than over here. They travel to shows and are always out with their cars. Over here I feel like a lone wolf...lol

I was really looking forward to showing my car next to yours Tony, not that I'd take any trophies away from you, I think the whole AMC world knows you cannot be beat!  But our cars would have really complimented each other!!!!  So I regret that we won't be doing that, it would have been GREAT!  I guess you will have to retire and move out here Tony, you'll get use to the winters, they aint so bad!  Wacko

Greg, there are LOTS of cars nicer than mine! I enjoy just getting the car out, either cruising, showing or drag racing.

Okay, I guess I owe an update.  Divorce has stalled the project, all the body work is done though.  All it requires is the fuel line to be put back in,  a paint job and assembling, it is so close to being finished, all the hard work is done.  Spent the last 1 1/2 years getting my life back on track.  Re-married this past Octoer 28th (2017), living in Wpg. and vehicle is stored in Saskatchewan.  I built a 5 car garage and wired it with 220, when my "new" wife is able to retire (in 1 year) we will be moving to Saskatchewan and I will be able to put the final touches on it, it is so close to being finished it is frustrating!!!!
