That's a 290 head which was cast in the second shift at the foundry 2 and 1/2 hours into the shift. I don't know what the 6 means. Joe

The 6 probably identifies it as a 66 head. A lot of times they cast the last digit of the year on them. Bob tufcj |

OK Cool! Those are my heads. Just wanted to make sure about the engine size. I assume it's the 66 engine that came in my car. Amost 15,000 miles on the rebuild and still pretty clean>>>>>>>>>> Thanks. Doug
