just received a camshaft from a friend that is supposed to be a solid lifter cam for AMC 290-401 engines. There is no grind number on it. All I can find is 3234 .029 which may be an AMC part number. Anybody know what the specs are for this cam. Much appreciated.

I do not believe AMC ever sold a solid camshaft so it is doubtful the number has any relevance to AMC.

I pulled the same cam out of a freshly rebuilt AMC 401 and I dont know any of the specs because the PO was throwing money at the rebuilding and just telling them how he wanted it to perform. I am hesitant on using in my Wagoneer if its too hot.
