Can you any point in the direction of a company that does quality re-chroming of tail lights?  Anyone have a positive experience somewhere?  I need a set done.

Thanks

From our Vendor Directory section right here on the Forum:

Personal experience was excellent, great quality work at a reasonable cost. Family owned business. You might need to call a few times to get in touch with them, but other than that they're pretty solid.

I had my 69 housings done here:  http://www.chromeplus.com/

Wasn't cheap (about $200 per housing), but they do look like new.  Some cheap platers that machine sand and buff round off the square edges, so if you want better than driver quality, find a plater that works by hand.  They cost more, but the results are worth it.

I had a first set done at a discount plater for about $100 each, I wouldn't even put them on my car.

$200 per housing sounds about right for a decent replate.

I had the quarter window trim (hockey sticks) done for $80 ea.  The shop removed all the old plating, then filled the pits and imperfections with copper before replating them. Have to admit -- they came out really nice. There's nothing like new chrome!
