Rebuilt my 290 with a mild
cam. Picked up 4 barrel manifold and carter AFB. AFB came from a 69 290. I rebuilt the carb and engine started and ran well for awhile. I haven't driven it for about 3 weeks now and went to take it out tonight and it won't idle. seems to be loading up, you can smell raw fuel out the exhaust. Choke is open, looks like the secondaries are a little wet. I had this happen once before and took the carb off and the top off. Readjusted the float levels and ran fine after that until now. Any suggestions? Don't know where the carb came from, it was kind of a barn purchase.
