With a little irrigation and you grow just about anything anywhere but that part of the city is pretty flat although one of the inner city area mountains was directly behind me when I was taking the pictures.

Here are some shots from the Jeep end of the show field.  The black Wrangler is owned by a young man who just got it and was at his first car show.  Nice kid.

If you want AMCs and mountains, you have to drive up the hill to Flagstaff...

Some more pictures from Matt Wilson's facebook page. We are blessed to have such an active AMC community in the Phoenix area.

Keith Coggins pulling into the show in my 68 AMX (which amusingly received best under carriage award)

Just getting out of the SC/Rumbler parked next to Mark Fletcher's B Scheme

Terry Fletcher arriving in their 70 AMX

Johh McKee arriving in his beautiful A Scheme SC/Rambler

This car won best paint job at the show and it is a stunner

IIRC, this Gremmie won people's choice award and it is a fabulous car with a 401 stuffed in the engine bay.

Two other club member's very nice Gremmies

Very nice early American convertible with chebbie power and a very hot bittersweet 69 AMX from Steel Dreamz brought over by Tony Sanchez

68 Ambo 2 door hdtop

VERY nice fish and very cute pink early 4 door with a 302 furd engine next to it. Mark Fletcher's beautiful two tone black over red Rogue convertible factory 290 4 spd is in the background

Suzanne's son Matt with their Jeep

Thanks for the car pics and I hope that some of us left coast folks can make it next year. Save us some parking spots!

Another club member forwarded some additional pictures from the show.

Mark O's very nice 72 SC/360 clone

a better picture of the very hot sounding and great looking 401 Gremmie

mean sounding and looking humpster

Club Member Larry K's very nicely done facotry V-8 3 spd Gremmie (redone by Rick the guy that does the paint and a lot of the body work on my cars at the shop).

The green 1/4 mile - 4 green AMXs, my 68 Ralley Green Metallic (in the background), a 69 Hunter Green with gold stipes and a pair of BBG AMXs, one 69 and one 70.

Mark F's 67 uber rare factory 290 4 spd ragtop Rogue that I understand will soon be published in HMM.

an exceptionally nice and rather sinister looking humpster.

70s and up rows:

including a very nice club member's Matty.

Some more of Matt's great Wagoneer with some vintage memorabilia.

Matt getting an award for his Jeep like he does at nearly every show he takes it to. AND he still drives it offroad like it was designed to do every chance he gets.
