Have not done a thing to mine yet.....need to get the trany fixed...and new wheel studs
and tires on the rear.....no other changes planed....and it is fast enough for me.... OH...I forgot York survived 2nd rd..... hey im looking for some advice my 70 javelin now with a 72 401 is running 11,40,s in the 1/4 mile i have vinolia 14-1 dome top pistons with h-beam rods with factory forged crank 544 lift cam rpm air gap intake hooker super comp headers ford 9inch rear end3.89 gears i have the biggest valves possible ported and polished with a rpm air gap i am up for suggetion i want to go faster it seems to be hooking 149 60 ft. i know nitrous would help is anyone running the eldelbrok aluminum head sure hate to spend the money and not get no faster im eating up these chevy guys and they hate it im ready to take out some big dogs AMC NUT AL(KEEPING IT ALIVE)

Need a little more info. Like trany used and gears in it, rear tires, more cam info. Like duration, what you using for a carb & fuel system, timing and RPM at the line? That I don’t think is a bad time. BTW I know of a 360 that is running a cam, headers, torker intake & 343 flat tops running 11.50 and on 150hp spray 10.50 in a 68 or 69 Jav. My 70 Jav only runs 13.0’s with a 280H cam, headers, torker intake & 4.56 gear. Both of us run TH400 with 3000 to 4000 stall. Dave ---- |
