Hi all, Yes, we're a couple of crasy guy's that care about pacer here in France, but our knowledge about this kind of car is poor vs other V8 GM or mopar for eg.
Is anybody knows that 4.2L use single barrel carburator, like a option or something like that?
It seams that 232 cu in (3.8 L) I6 use only single barrel, but we have 258 cu in (4.2 L) I6 with single, is it a french custom modification or stock?
Thanks by advance
Nicolas

I think the 232 engine in the Pacer was only available with a single barrel Carter YF carburetor. The 258 (4.2L) engine was available initially (in 1975 at least) with only a single barrel carburetor but later models beginning in 1976 or 1977 had the option of a 2-bbl Carter BBD model carburetor.
