The White 70JavelinSST was purchased by me from the dealership it was originally sold at when it was new in December of 1969 or early 1970.

I bought it in March of 1972 after it was traded back in to the dealer by the original owner.

I removed the dealer badges shortly after I purchased it.

Recently I was fortunate enough to find a dealer badge that was given to me in an envelope with the dealer letterhead on it.

I felt very lucky.

Great find, Armand!  Are you going to bring that Javelin to Kenosha in July so we all can see it?  It's practically in your backyard!

Camjam,

I've thought many times about bringing the car to Kenosha.

I've often wondered how to do that without an enclosed trailer and truck to pull it with.

I don;t like it at all when the car gets wet or when it it out of my site. Outside overnight at a motel is a big no no.

I need a truck and enclosed trailer, er, I need more money. LOL

I was that way with my BBO AMX, so I understand. Now I have a driver Javelin and get to enjoy it. I'll still tow it long distances (probably will trailer it to Kenosha) but I'm driving it the 12 hours to Colorado Springs in June.

Hi Bernie Pfeifer from Saskatoon Saskatchewan not sure if our old dealership is registered but it was called Metro Motors owned by Jerry Ackerman. From the opening of our local drag strip they were actively participating with sponsorship and actually bringing AMC’s out to race other dealers in the area.I myself still compete with my AMX
