Stock Eddie heads flow marginally better thanm stock AMC heads as has been documented multiple timee right here on the forum. Do some searches and find it yourself.

Even if they flowed the same, there's a lot to be said for knocking that weight off the FRONT of your car.

Unless of course you're racing "wrong wheel drive" then lugging the front end down may be the thing to do. Big smile

When did he mention he had Edelbrock heads and they were stock? Did I miss that?

I asked earlier if he had any work done to the aluminum heads or if he just bolted on the nice shiny new aluminum ones. The list of current parts just said aluminum heads but didn't say what they were or if anything was done other than take them out of the box and bolt them on.

And yes, aluminum heads weight reductions are a good thing as are the aluminum intake and headers particularly on a 4 speed engine when you can also get rid of all the add on smog junk. You get some of that weight back with a scatter shield but replacing the cast parts with lighter weight aluminum will definitely pull some weight off the nose.

I would assume they are eddys also since he runs a torker and no spacer under the front.
