Now that I have the damper problem solved on to the next step.

How is the thermostat probe installed in the evap box? Is it inserted through the fins?
Unfortunately I pulled the probe out before I opened the box so I never saw what happened inside.

Thanks

Isn't there a wee hole on the box for the probe to slide through. It should be on the box, nearby the tstat.

Yes, there is a hole in the box for the probe and a rubber plug. On my box the t-stat is mounted on the right side, the hole is on the left. I pulled the probe out without seeing how it was mounted INSIDE the box.

I assumed it went through the fins and Heavy 488 verified that. Thanks!!
