Trader,  I went conservative on the TC. A shop in town does a lot of in-house transmission mods and racing stuff. Had them do what they call a street converter, which is refinning and uprating the stock one a little. They said it would be equivalent to a little less than a 2000 unit in terms of a number but generate no new problems like heat. Even with the stock 343 before I souped it up I noticed a little difference. I've considered a 2400 since I have about 440 lb ft of torque now and 256/264 duration cam. Just not sure because I do a lot of driving on county roads at 50 (2000rpm) and don't want to overheat anything or burn out the trans. Always fun to think about though.
