AMX dash numbers

First look at your door data tag.  What color is the tag? If it is black the dash plaque probably just said AMX in raised cast letters. Very different look than the other plates, but still about the same size. If the plate on the door is blue the dash plaque was probably on the glovebox The plaque numbers would be less than 1500, except some were 3100-3900 as they were out of sequence. Cars before Sequence number E005400 on the door data plate or so were made to January 1, 68, which is less than 150 AMXs. Somewhere around Sequence E082000 or so the data plate changed from blue to green and the dash plaque moved to the center dash.
