have heard that summit and other part places sell seconds is that true.

Not sure on seconds, but Summit does have a sale every few months to clear out returns and display items. I picked up a Wilwood front disc kit for my 67 barracuda at half price. They list on there website under events it is a crap shoot as to what they may have and you do have to go to there store.

I think the only ones guilty of selling second rate junk are the aftermarket manufacturers selling us MADE in CHINA.
