yes its a lot like a snap on one you can feed 12 to your circuit for testing great trouble shooting for lights and pumps

I've got one of the Power Probe IIs.  It's an incredibly useful tool when working on automotive electronics.

I prefer a DVM (digital voltmeter). I oftem see ads from Harbor Fright offering them for free if you buy other stuff from them.
