Your right, more eyes are definitely better. I just need more resources with eyes of experience/expertise than I need eyes of ponderment 😂. I’ve had the same argument over thermostats. One occasion being upside down, the other being wrong temp. 

The torque converter sure is strong, when in the drive gear.... I mean, they basically throw fluid/pressure in the same manner, reverse or drive, correct? Not sure it’s safe to assume if one gear works, they should all work (converter wise). But as I’ve mentioned numerous times, transmissions get pretty far out of my spectrum of mechanical cobbling. 

I plan to recheck the linkage/shifter detents tonight. Got it apart other night but ran out of time to test out. I’ll check that governor spring as well. I still say something stupid, is being stupid, not letting the stupid thing do it’s function LOL.
