Washers are cheap, just replace them if they show signs of scoring from previous installations.

The one on the bottom left is the one that I just took out. I just used a die to try to re-thread the bolt as best I can. The one on the upper right is the set I will use for the install. Is the washer on the upper right still usable or can I just flip the washer around maybe?
Thanks!!

It's hard to tell how deep the scoring is.
I will sometimes lap on emery paper the washers to take out small amounts of scoring but in most cases I just replace a scored washer.

That newer washer is just fine, as said, dress it with a stone.  Do not flip it because that is the seal for the oil path.  The sharp edge goes in and the rounded out.  Do not over tighten, the washer will collapse and the bolt will loosen again.  If the washer is not flat or slightly convex, replace it.  Those are special hardened washers, not hardware store ones.  Get a good AMC original.  Use locktite and new keyways also.  They will be worn from the movement.
