Is there a 904 trans available with the starter on the drivers side, to fit the early 199,232, with the starter on the drivers side? they started installing 904's in 1972. thank you in advance

Boy I am not sure, but it was the Chrysler Slant 6 motors that are set-up that way ?

Could be but no Chrysler transmission will FIT that engine - you'd have to have an adapter plate. The bolt pattern would be very off and then the spacing of the starter from flywheel would be wrong.
So it's the side, the bolt pattern and how far the starter is out from center to match the flywheel's ring gear. |
