Hi guys, while re-wrapping the wiring harnesses, after a few years being parked dis-assembled, there's a wire that seems out of place. The car is a '77 Pacer, 258/auto with rally pack. There's a violet wire that has a ragged end, hasn't been hooked up since I've had the car. There is another wire on the rally pack harness, violet w/tracer, that was connected to the water temp sender on the cylinder head. The wiring diagram shows these as the only violet wires under the hood really. So, my question is, should there be two temp senders, one for the standard harness, one for the rally pack? (for oil pressure, there is one standard wire to a 'dummy light' sender, and another sender for the rally pack gauge) The questionable wire(circled in red) on the standard harness isn't cleanly terminated, looks almost like a connector was ripped off.

Thanks
Alex
