having trouble finding gas cap for 1969 rambler wagon. any ideals?

Look up a Stant 10646.
I believe that AMC and GM both used the same standard cap in 69. It should not be a vented cap.

I think the cap should be vented. They had a vent tube and an unvented cap up through 1967, 1968 and later had no vent tube and a vented cap, with a one way valve in the cap that would let air in but not let gas out. A 68 or 69 cap will fit, a 67 or earlier cap will not fit. AMC changed the size when they introduced vented caps.
